The Department of medicine conducts basic and translational scientific research focusing on diverse areas relevant to human disease. The CBTM works with the Clatworthy Lab and Bradley lab within the Department of Medicine.
The Clatworthy Group:
The Clatworthy lab is primarily interested in studying B cell activation and the regulation of the IgG antibody effector function in the kidney and gut. Clatworthy’s group is currently receiving tissue for the study of Lymphocyte phenotypes in secondary lymphoid tissue.
The Bradley Lab:
The Bradley lab focuses on mechanisms that alter vascular cell function and contribut to vascular disease. The Bradley lab is currently receiving tissue for the modelling of human glomerulosclerosis in vitro.
