The Gurdon Institute is a world leading research centre in the field of developmental biology. More than 240 scientists work at the Gurdon Institute under 6 group leaders. 

The Huch Lab: 

The Huch Lab primarily studies stem cells and tissue regeneration in the liver and pancreas with the goal of understanding the activation mechanisms in Primary liver and pancreatic cancer, to improve upon and develop therapeutic strategies. The CBTM is currently providing tissue for the development and study of primary liver tumour organoids and its efficacy as a pre-clinical model for drug sensitivity analysis.
