Regenerative Medicine

  • Studying models of liver, bile duct, and pancreatic cancer to investigate tumour biology and potential therapies
  • Genetic mutations in normal tissue and its impact on oncogenesis


  • Investigation of organ quality and suitability for transplanation
  • Studying mechanisms of ischaemia-reperfusion injury and its therapeutic amelioration
  • Investigation of the role of the immune system in transplant rejection

  • Cellular lineage analysis to study embryonic development of human organs
